Nezha and Wukong
Effective 26 July 2026 · Last updated 2 September 2026
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run any servers of our own. Your game progress never leaves your device. The parties that receive any data are Apple, when you make a purchase or use Game Center; Google AdMob, if you choose to watch a rewarded ad; and AppsFlyer, which measures whether an advertisement led you to install the game.
Nezha and Wukong ("the app", "the game") is an independently developed iOS game. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to the app's developer. You can reach us at sychenshangyu@gmail.com.
None. The app does not require registration, does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and does not transmit any data to servers operated by us. We operate no backend and hold no database of players.
The app saves the following locally, in the app's own private storage on your iPhone:
This data stays on your device. It is not readable by us or by other apps. Deleting the app removes it permanently.
In-app purchases. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. We receive only a confirmation from Apple that a given purchase succeeded on the device.
Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits your scores (best Endless wave, total wins, per-hero win rate) to Apple's leaderboards so you can be ranked against other players. Game Center displays the nickname you chose in your Apple Account settings. This service is operated by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center at any time in the iOS Settings app, and the game will continue to work without leaderboards.
The app includes optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are never shown automatically — an ad plays only when you deliberately choose to watch one in exchange for Energy. If you never tap that button, no ad is ever requested and no ad-related data is ever sent.
When you do watch an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect technical information such as your device model, operating system version, coarse region, and a resettable advertising identifier, in order to deliver and measure the ad. This processing is carried out by Google and is governed by Google's Privacy & Terms.
Since version 1.0.2 the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt shortly after launch, asking permission to use your device's advertising identifier. This is used only to measure which advertisement led you to install the game (see section 6). Declining changes nothing about how the game plays — every feature remains fully available; it only makes our advertising measurement less precise. You can change your answer at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and limit ad personalisation under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting, or telemetry SDK. We do not know how many matches you play, which heroes you use, or how long you play for.
Since version 1.0.2 the app does include one attribution SDK, AppsFlyer, whose only purpose is to tell us whether an advertisement led you to install the game. It reports three things: that an install happened, that the tutorial was completed, and that an in-app purchase was made (with its amount and currency). Where you allow it, this is matched using your device's advertising identifier; Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork is also used, which reports only aggregate results and identifies no individual.
We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location, and this data is not linked to your identity. If you decline the tracking prompt described in section 5, the advertising identifier is not used.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for a parent to request deletion of on our side. If you have concerns, please contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the CCPA, or similar laws. Those rights apply to personal data a company holds; as described above, we hold none.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not link any data to your identity.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects data handling in the app, note it in the app's release notes.
